House of Many Windows Podcast: Ep. 07 – Fundamentals of Islam for protecting nature

In the last episode of this season we will make a connection between the local and global, talking about the perspective of Islam and the climate emergency we are experiencing.

We invited Gilliam, who is part of the Islamic solidarity committees, representing the Maranhão committee, and we also had the presence of Omar, who is a biologist and member of the Fé no Clima network.

The recording of this episode was made before October 4th, the date on which another conflict began in the Gaza Strip region, affecting thousands of people.

There are many prejudices about Islam. Associating religious people with certain stereotypes, for example, is a form of what we know as Islamophobia. Listen here until the end to find out more!
