Performance in ADPF 635

ISER acts while amicus curiae in ADPF 635 (Arguição de Descumprimento de Preceito Fundamental 635), known as ADPF das Favelas, before the Federal Supreme Court, which discusses parameters of judicial control of public security policy in Rio de Janeiro, characterized by institutional racism and genocide of the population black. ISER's performance in this collective articulation is related to the implication of the national justice system in the implementation of the parameters defined in the sentence of the Favela Nova Brasília Case, especially in relation to police lethality.
