The project foresees activities at the interfaces between legal and political training (popular education), knowledge production and articulation and political advocacy, in order to contribute to the strengthening of the fight against prisons and against police violence.
Goals:
– Strengthen social movements and multiply popular leaders, religious or not, through legal-political training, from the perspective of popular education, in the fight for extrication.
– Produce knowledge about the relationship between the performance of the justice system and mass incarceration to have a political impact on the public space.
– Expand ISER's articulation and incidence, together with popular organizations and movements, to influence spaces for debate and legal-institutional dispute in the fight against state violence.
