Based on the first data on religion from the 2022 IBGE Census, this collection of articles seeks to demonstrate how the Brazilian religious field is dynamic, porous, and marked by a fluidity of affiliations. More than presenting ready-made answers, we seek to foster questions, challenge categories, and open avenues for interdisciplinary, interreligious, and democratic dialogue.
